Parliament of Owls Workshop

Experience a walk-up lantern-making workshop in the heart of Midtown

Colony Square will be hosting a Parliament of Owls workshop with Chantelle Rytter on Saturday, July 14th from 10AM- 1PM. The workshop will be taking place at the Pocket Park on the corner of 15th & Peachtree.

This workshop is for a Parliament of Owls: A Midtown Lantern Parade taking place on August 3rd, ending at Colony Square! This lantern parade is different: It is all owls, and the owls are all white with black details.

A series of owl drawings by Chantelle will be available for the participant lanterns. There are three species of Rytter drawings; the Southern Urban Forest Owl, the Crested Creeper, and the Starred Bard Owl. There are adults, juveniles, and owlets sized lanterns for each species. Or, you are welcome to draw your own owl species into existence! The workshop will be walk-ups only, pre-registration will not be available.

Please see all parade details at www.midtownlanternparade.com

We strongly encourage using MARTA, ride-share services like UBER, Relay Bike Share + walking to The Square for the workshops. But if you plan on driving, parking is available at The Square $8 all day, on-site.
